Every year my partner and I host a Thanksgiving lunch for our families. We generally try to aim for something a little more unique than the traditional Thanksgiving turkey and sides. Our goal this year is to make an Indonesian-inspired Thanksgiving so we're practicing Indonesian meals recently.
Our previous Thanksgiving meals were:
- Tamales. We made four different fillings: turkey, corn 'casserole', sweet potato, and cranberry pecan (a sweeter take).
- Indian-inspired. We served chaat samosas filled with turkey keema (and keema aloo for vegetarians), sweet potato pakoras, chole, dhal makhani, and a rose & cardamom cheesecake.

Currently I'm the Director of Product & Engineering at DecisionRx, a healthcare tech company.
We use genetic testing to uncover risks in patients taking multiple prescription medications to reduce the rate of medication failure and possible hospitalization.
We are a small company still, so even with a Director title I spend a lot of my time hands on across the business. The experience has taught me a great deal about the healthcare industry, pharmacueticals, and genetics.
